EVENT. The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) and the North Carolina Military Foundation (Foundation) will co-host the 2010 North Carolina Military Construction (MILCON) Summit at the Joseph S. Koury Convention Center on October 20-21, 2010.

PRE-SUMMIT ACTIVITES . This year, the North Carolina Military Business Center and the North Carolina Military Foundation will provide optional half-day options to participants and spouses to network and relax before the full-day MILCON SUMMIT.  Join us for an afternoon of Golf, Spa & Lunch options at the Grandover Resort and an evening full of networking at Networking Event. SUMMIT PROGRAM. The Summit program will focus on federal MILCON, sustainment, restoration and modernization (SRM) and “green” construction opportunities and contracting processes in North Carolina.  The program will include presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, a vendor expo and speed networking with:

ACCOMMODATIONS. The host hotel for the MILCON 2010 is the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons and Joseph S. Koury Convention Center located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

A limited block of MILCON Summit rooms will be available at the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons (attached to the Koury Center) for the rate of $125.00 plus tax for participants (single and double occupancy. Please note: Hotel Rooms are still available at the group discount! Call toll-free 1-800-242-6556 and ask for the special group-discounted rate, rate code: NCMBC/MILCON 2010.

The cut-off date for discounted room rate is: September 28, 2010

     

REGISTRATION. Open, on-line registration began on August 27, 2010. Participation in the MILCON Summit is limited; registration will close when the event reaches full capacity. Please register as soon as possible to ensure your company's attendance at the Summit.  Once registration has closed, a wait list will be available.

CANCELLATION POLICY.  If the need to cancel occurs, please notify NCMBC at milconadmin@ncmbc.us prior to

October 6, 2010 for a full refund. Refunds will not be provided to those who cancel after close of businesses on October 6, 2010. Refunds will not be provided for "No Shows" the day of the event.
