
Senator Richard Burr, the North Carolina Aerospace Alliance (NCAA), and the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) will co-host the 2011 North Carolina Aerospace Supplier Conference in Greensboro, NC on August 24, 2011.
When. August 24, 2011 from 8:30 am - 6:30 pm, registration check-in will begin at 7:30 am.

Program. To view the agenda, click here. The North Carolina Aerospace Supplier Conference will provide opportunities for North Carolina companies to interact with Aerospace prime contractors, as they identify their defense and commercial aerospace projects and needs. Senator Richard Burr will open the conference with keynote remarks. Following Senator Burr's remarks, guest speakers will touch on Aerospace trends and opportunities:
- Commercial aerospace trends presented by Barry Eccleston, CEO of Airbus Americas
- Defense aerospace trends presented by Lieutenant General Mark D. "Shack" Shackelford, Military Deputy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, United States Air Force. Biography.
- Commercial space trends presented by Jeff Krukin, former Executive Director of the
Space Frontier Foundation
- General aviation manufacturing trends presented by Pete Bunce, President & CEO of
General Aviation Manufacturers Association
- Aerospace workforce training at North Carolina community colleges panel discussion
led by Maureen Little of the North Carolina Community College System and Dave
Drugman of Honda
- Major aerospace original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to include Goodrich,
Honda, TIMCO, Triumph, Curtiss Wright, General Dynamics & General Electric will
present current and future needs
- Exporting can help a company
survive in a future of constrained defense budgets and fierce
global competition. The Export Licensing Reform Initiative will
make the export process simpler for industry suppliers. Learn about the
aerospace export opportunities from the North Carolina Department
of Commerce, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the International

- A large exhibit area consisting of aerospace prime contractors and subcontractors will
provide the opportunity for one-on-one interaction and networking
Conference Goal. The goal is simple, promote and grow our aerospace industry by bringing together North Carolina users, purchasers, manufacturers, and suppliers through education, networking and growth opportunities as well as sharing "best practices" in order to provide job growth, financial stability, and a stronger industry in our state.

Individual admission includes registration for one (1) conference attendee, lunch, beverages throughout the day, admittance to the exhibit area, and admittance to all conference presentations.

Exhibitor admission includes registration for two (2) conference attendees plus table-top exhibit display (6-foot table, chairs, table cloth), lunch, beverages throughout the day, admittance to all conference presentations.
Exhibitor space is no longer available.

PAYMENT. After
completion of your registration, online payment is available through
the use of a Visa or MasterCard. Online payment is preferred. However,
checks will be accepted. Checks must be made out to "Fayetteville
Technical Community College" and mailed to PO Box 1748, Fayetteville, NC
28302-1748.
ADDITIONAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION.
Additional Participants. If your organization would like to send individuals outside of the two
(2) provided in the exhibitor registration, they must register and pay
as an attendee ($75.00).
Exhibit Space. Exhibitor space
includes a table-top booth display (6-foot table, chairs, and table
cloth).
Electricity is available for exhibit spaces. If you would like electricity at your exhibit space, please make the appropriate selection on the registration form. An additional form is required and will be emailed to you. Electricity payment is an additional cost to be paid directly to the Koury Convention Center.
Set-Up. Exhibitor set-up will
begin at 7:30 am the morning of August 24th.
Exhibitor Special Requirements. If your organization has special requirements or needs to ship materials to the Koury Convention Center, please email smedickc@ncmbc.us, as soon as possible.
ACCOMMODATIONS. The host hotel for the Aerospace Conference is the Sheraton Greensboro Hotel at Four Seasons and Joseph S. Koury Convention Center located in Greensboro, North Carolina.
To make a reservation under the block room rate, please call 1-800-242-6556 and used the code NC Aerospace Alliance. The room rate is $97.00 plus tax. This rate will only be available until August 9, 2011.
CANCELLATION POLICY. If the need to cancel occurs, please notify NCMBC at smedickc@ncmbc.us prior to August 10,
2011 for a full refund. Refunds will not be provided to those who cancel
after close of businesses on August 10,
2011. Refunds will not be
provided for "No Shows" the day of the event.
