PRE-SUMMIT ACTIVITIES. Two pre-summit activities are available on October 19, 2011 a golf tournament and the FEDCON Sumit welcome reception, please see below for more details.
GOLF OUTING. On October 19, 2011, SAME Cape Fear Post will host a golf outing to participants and spouses to relax and relax before the full-day FEDCON SUMMIT. Not a golfer? Come for Lunch and networking! (Please Note: The Golf Outing and lunch are not included in conference registration fee and are provided at cost. Group golf rate includes green fees and cart. RECEPTION. On October 19, 2011 a FEDCON Summit reception sponsored by BB&T Construction Risk Services will be held on the event lawn directly behind the Wilmington Convention Center (515 Nutt Street, Wilmington, NC 28401) from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. All Summit attendees are welcome to attend the reception. There is no fee for Summit attendees to participate in the reception, the cost was built into your overall Summit fee.
SUMMIT PROGRAM. The
Summit program will focus on federal MILCON, sustainment, restoration
and modernization (SRM) and “green” construction opportunities and
contracting processes in North Carolina. The program will include
presentations, panel discussions, breakout sessions, a vendor expo and
speed networking with:
- Brigadier General Thomas A. Gorry, Commanding General, Marine Corps Installations East is scheduled to attend and deliver keynote remarks.
- Major General Jeffrey J. Dorko, Deputy Commanding General, Military and International Operations, US Army Corps of Engineers, is scheduled to attend and deliver keynote remarks
- Major General Al Aycock, Director of Operations, Director of Operations, Office of the Assistant Chief of Staff of the Army for Installation Management (OACSIM)

REGISTRATION. Open, online registration will begin in August. Participation in the Summit is limited; registration will close
when the event reaches full capacity. Please register as soon as
possible to ensure your company's attendance at the Summit. Once
registration has closed, a wait list will be available.

Individual admission includes a one-day Summit pass (Summit reception on
October 19, full program, light breakfast, buffet lunch, exhibitor
expo, speed networking, and materials).

PAYMENT. After
completion of your registration, online payment is available through
the use of a Visa or MasterCard. Online payment is preferred. However,
checks will be accepted. Checks must be made out to "Fayetteville
Technical Community College" and mailed to PO Box 1748, Fayetteville, NC
28302-1748.

ADDITIONAL EXHIBITOR INFORMATION.
Additional Participants. If your organization would like to send individuals outside of the two
(2) provided in the exhibitor registration, they must register and pay
as an attendee.
Exhibit Space. Exhibitor space
includes a table-top booth display (6-foot table, chairs, table
skirting, and electricity). If your organization plans to utilize the
electricity, please provide your own extension cords.
Set-Up. Early exhibitor set-up will
be available the day before the Summit (October 19) from 1:00 - 4:00 pm at the Wilmington Convention Center. Set-up will be available the day of the event.
