Description: R&O Construction was recently awarded a $72.7 million project to Replace Family Housing, Phases 8/9 at Seymour-Johnson AFB and is working in partnership with Atherton Construction as the Prime Subcontractor. This project includes demolition of 220 existing housing units and construction of 217 new housing units.
Additionally, R&O Construction was awarded a $15 million project for Wayne Manor Whole House Remodel at Seymour-Johnson AFB that consists of design/build renovation of 150 housing units (75 duplexes.)
Contractors of all sizes and specialties are invited to attend the subcontracting fair.
Please note that
R&O and Atherton Construction are seeking subcontractors with:
- Experience working on military installations
- Bonding capability in some trades
- Ability to maintain current insurance (general, auto, and worker’s compensation)
- Ability to meet installation access requirements for Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base
- Capability of maintaining staffing required to meet schedule deadlines
- Financial capability to perform the work required
