Purpose. Learn how to maximize your potential for securing military and government contracts with an emphasis on projects available for local enterprise, small, and minority owned businesses at the U.S. Coast Guard Station, Elizabeth City, MCB Camp Lejeune, MCAS Cherry Point, and Seymour Johnson AFB.
Commencing at 9:00 am, and schedule permitting Congressman G. K. Butterfield will address the forum with opening remarks and an overview of economic opportunities in Northeastern North Carolina.
Presentations will be made by the Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), and the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC). Contracting Officers from all area military bases have been invited to share known and potential contracting opportunities that are underway at their locale as well as any unique rules or regulations affecting current and potential federal contractors. Following the presentations, one-on-one Q&A sessions with contracting officers will be available. Closing remarks are expected to occur at 1:00 pm.
