
Rentenbach/Leeper, in association with the Small Business Technical Development Center (SBTDC), Fayetteville State University (FSU), North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC), Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC),
Cumberland Regional Improvement Corporation, Fayetteville Business Center, and Fayetteville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce are please to host and provide an outreach/networking event for the recently awarded project for Fayetteville State University. Subcontractors/suppliers are welcome to present their services and products to members of the Rentenbach/Leeper staff for all divisions of work (Divisions 1-16).
In addition, a presentation of a newly created Joint Partnership Education Center (JPEC) will be provided in order for subcontractors/suppliers to seek assistance in the following areas: Plans/take-off/Bid Packing, Bonding Specialists, Financial/Accounting/Records, Marketing/Joint Venturing, FSU LEED Procedures/Materials and Safety and Quality Control. These breakout sessions will allow subcontractors/suppliers to schedule future appointments with qualified personnel to assist in your needs.

Description. Rentenbach/Leeper has been awarded a contract to construct the New Science and Technology Building of Fayetteville State University. This is a 4-story, 64,000 SF Science and Technology building for Fayetteville State University located in the center of campus on the main quad. The building consists of 2000 SF data center, faculty offices, Math and Computer classrooms, Physics Labs/Classrooms, Forensics Labs/Classrooms, and Chemistry Labs/Classrooms. Construction is anticipated to be cast-in-place concrete and structural steel structure with a brick and store front exterior skin. Extensive site utility relocations will be required to begin construction including ductbanks, fiber optic cabling, storm and sanity sewers.
Rentenbach/Leeper are currently in the pre-construction phase of this project. Construction is expected to begin in February 2011.
Completion Date. July 2012
Level of Certification. LEED Silver
