It is Walbridge’s commitment to promote the use of Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned SB, HUBZone SB, Veteran-Owned SB and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned SB Firms. We establish scopes of work that are solely dedicated to small business participation, along with identifying and breaking out smaller packages from larger scopes of work.  As part of our subcontracting strategy, Walbridge engages in a “Prompt-Pay” policy for the benefit of Small Business partners, recommending that these firms be paid in a shorter time frame than is typical to the industry.

Our commitment to exceed all Small Business goals is not one to use less competitive or more expensive businesses, but to partner with small businesses that have the competitive advantage of working in their local communities, knowing the regional construction trends and being close to their work.

Subcontracting.  Presently Walbridge is pursuing federal work in North Carolina and we are looking for qualified Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Women-Owned SB, HUBZone SB, Veteran-Owned SB and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned SB Firms to join our project teams.
