DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY: Small Business Vendor Outreach (Washington, D.C. – May 23, 2019)
Sponsored by the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Vendor Outreach Sessions (VOS’s) are a series of pre-arranged 15-minute appointments with Small Business Specialists from DHS components, plus several prime contractors who currently have contracts with DHS. These sessions provide the small business community opportunities to discuss their capabilities and to learn more about doing business with DHS. We maintain a listing of scheduled Vendor Outreach Sessions that includes the dates companies may schedule appointments for specific sessions.
The next Vendor Outreach Session (VOS) will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 9 a.m – 12 p.m. Registration will begin on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 12 p.m (Eastern time). Please read the instructions carefully as the sessions fill quickly. NOTE: These sessions are open to HUBZone Small Businesses only.
Scheduled participants from DHS include representatives from DHS Headquarters Office of Procurement Operations, the U.S. Coast Guard, the U.S. Secret Service, Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Transportation Security Administration, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, and the Science & Technology Directorate’s Small Business Innovative Research Program.
Additionally, several large business prime contractors will be on hand to discuss subcontracting opportunities, as well as mentor-protégé relationships.
