NETWORK WITH THE SOUTHEAST REGION MILITARY AND FEDERAL GOVERNMENT ATTENDEES DURING THE “FEDNET” SESSIONS
The Offices of Senator Richard Burr and Senator Thom Tillis and the North Carolina Military Business Center are pleased to host the 2017 Southeast Region Federal Construction, Infrastructure & Environmental Summit (The Summit) in Wilmington, North Carolina at the Wilmington Convention Center on October 24-25, 2017.

WHEN.  October 24-25, 2017
WHERE. Wilmington Convention Center, 515 Nutt Street, Wilmington, NC 28401
PURPOSE.  “The Summit” brings together over 700 representatives of the Corps of Engineers, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Fort Bragg, Marine Corps Installations East, Seymour Johnson AFB, other Army, Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps installations, US Coast Guard, Department of Veterans Affairs, General Services Administration, other federal agencies, general and specialty contractors, designers and construction suppliers from throughout the Southeast of the United States.

ATTENDANCE. Attendance is encouraged for:
  • General and specialty contractors that work in VA, NC, SC and GA.
  • Design firms that work in VA, NC, SC and GA.
  • Construction supply firms that work in VA, NC, SC and GA
  • Companies that provide facility-support contracts in VA, NC, SC and GA.
  • Current federal contractors seeking North Carolina partners and suppliers
  • Companies outside of the VA, NC, SC and GA region are welcome to attend “The Summit”

A twist on prior “speed networking” sessions, The Summit will offer one-on-one “FedNet” (meet and greet) sessions in a “Government Lounge” area of the Exhibit Hall.  During these sessions, company representatives will have the opportunity to meet with and present information about their companies to military and federal officials in an informal atmosphere.  The Meet and Greet sessions will also provide company representatives the opportunity to ask military and federal officials additional questions that were not discussed during their respective program sessions, which normally immediately precede the Meet and Greets.
