1639 NC Contract Actions (June 1-30)

The federal government awarded 1,639 contract actions in excess of $237 million to North Carolina firms between June 1 – June 30, 2016.  The following are examples of the 1,639 contract actions:

Biocryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc. of Durham (Durham County) was awarded a $5,475,146.00 contract for the development of therapeutic medical countermeasures for biodefense and emerging infectious diseases from the Department of Health and Human Services.  Contract number: HHSN272201300017C.

Nucare Carolina Ambulance, Inc. of Winston-Salem (Forsyth County) was awarded a $850,000.00 contract for non-emergency ambulance services at the Hampton VA Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia task oder for option 1 from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract number: VA24616J6098.

Elsag North America LLC of Greensboro (Guilford County) was awarded a $1,222,030.00 contract for engineer and maintenance support from the Department of Justice.  Contract number: DJD14K0028.

Net Direct Systems, LLC of Apex (Wake County) was awarded a $151,640.00 contract for computers from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract number: HSCETE16J00184.

Transylvania Vocational Services, Inc of Brevard (Transylvania County) was awarded a $2,555,113.37 contract for nonfat dry milk from the Department of Agriculture.  Contract number: AGDPROP160397.

Humble Harvest LLC of Wiliamston (Martin County) was awarded $124,405.00 for antenna field maintenance five (5) year contract in accordance with attached SOW Edward R. Murrow transmitting station from the Broadcasting Board of Governors.  Contract number: BBG50D160003.

Lumbee Enterprise Development Inc of Pembroke (Robeson County) was awarded a $1,178,110.11 contract for HVAC services from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract number: HSSS0116C0014.

Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park (Durham County) was awarded a $1,681,056.00 contract for evaluation of cooperative agreements to benefit homeless individuals for states and communities from the Department of Health and Human Services.  Contact number: HHSS28342011T.

Bernhardt Furniture Company of Lenior (Caldwell County) was awarded a $85,914.82 contract for furniture from the Department of State. Contract number: SAQMMA16L0600.

Locklear and Son Carpet and Asbestos Removal, LLC of Pembroke (Robeson County) was awarded a $76,771.26 contract for renovation 6th floor vending machine room, Timberlake Annex from the General Services Administration.  Contract number: GSP0416EX7387.
