1850 NC Contract Actions (May 1-31)

The federal government awarded 1,850 contract actions in excess of $117 million to North Carolina firms between May 1 – May 31, 2016.  The following are examples of the 1,850 contract actions:

Operations Services, Inc. of Fayetteville (Cumberland County) was awarded a $727,144.40 contract for logistics support from the General Services Administration.  Contract award: GS04Q16DBC0008

Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park (Durham County) was awarded a $7,651,624.00 contract for data collection that assess how students and their parents pay for college attending post-secondary institutions from the Department of Education.  Contract award: EDIES09C0039.

Wake Radiology Consultants PA of Raleigh (Wake County) was awarded a $496,126.80 contract for tele-radiology from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA26116P1758.

Scott Technologies, Inc. of Monroe (Union County) was awarded a $127,587.00 contract for breathing apparatus from the Department of Defense.  Contract award: SPE8EH16V0753

Mind Your Business, Inc. of Hendersonville (Henderson County) was awarded a $1,443,527.60 contract for national background check from the Department of Labor. Contract award: DOLETA16F00010

RC Solutions, Inc. of Fayetteville (Cumberland County) was awarded a $331,131.40 contract for acquisition of military-style field equipment to be donated to the government of Colombia on behalf of INL Bogota from the Department of State.  Contract award: SINLEC16C0019

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Durham County) was awarded a $260,000.00 contract for emission, air quality and meteorological modeling support from the Environmental Protection Agency.  Contract award: EPD12044

Worrell Contracting Co., Inc. of Goldsboro (Wayne County) was awarded a $470,573.66 contract for R&R service complete grounds maintenance services and janitorial services from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA78615C0014

Wells Global, LLC of Raleigh (Wake County) was awarded $1,100,000.00 DAB ATCT HVAC/Controls replacement from the Department of Transportation.  Contract award: DTFAAC16D00019CALL0036

Tiger Controls, Inc., LLC of Greensboro (Guilford County) was awarded $218,022.14 contract for uninterpretable power supplies from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award: HSCG3816P900057

Lead Technologies, Inc. of Charlotte (Mecklenburg County) was awarded $123,371.13 contract for dental pacs from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA52816P0232

Hussco, Inc. of Salisbury (Rowan County) was awarded a $91,483.60 contract for tshirts from the Department of Justice.  Contract award: DJU4500525754

Deere and Company of Cary (Wake County) was awarded a $85,086.26 for supply John Deere 6110M AG tractor and 640R loader for the US fish and wildlife service, Port Louisa National Wildlife Refuge, Wapello, Iowa from the Department of Interior.  Contract award: INF16PB00197

Huntington Health Care and Retirement Center, Inc. of Burgaw (Pender County) was awarded a $75,000.00 contract for nursing home service from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24616J4997
