2042 NC Contract Actions (Aug 1-31)
The federal government awarded 2042 contract actions in excess of $394 million to North Carolina firms between Aug 1 – Aug 31, 2016. The following are examples of the 2042 contract actions:
Duke Cogema Stone & Webster LLC of Charlotte (Meckleburg) was awarded a $86,004,000.00 contract for mixed oxide (MOX) fuel fabrication and reactor irradiation services from the Department of Energy. Contract award: DEAC0299CH10888.
Heritage Home Group, LLC of High Point (Davidson) was awarded a $604,367.20 contract for furniture from staff personnel in support of overseas mission from the Department of State. Contract award: SAQMMA16L0869.
Rowan Helping Ministries of Salisbury (Rowan) was awarded a $394,200.00 contract for transitional housing funding only action from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Contract award: VA24616J6956.
Cox Subscriptions Incorporated of Shallote (Brunswick) was awarded a $890,452.46 contract for library journal subscription from the Department of Commerce. Contract award: DOCC0072.
Duke Energy Progress, Inc. of Raleigh (Wake) was awarded a $489,400.00 contract for electric utilities for the EPA and NIEHS main campus in RTP, NC from the Environmental Protection Agency. Contract award: EPG15D00382.
DOT Construction, Inc. of Charlotte (Mecklenburg) was awarded a $247,569.00 for building 104 repairs and renovations from the Department of Health and Human Services. Contract award: HHSN29200035.
Winston-Salem Industries of the Blind, Inc. of Winston-Salem (Forsyth) was awarded a $800,000 contract for supply store contract for Forrestal and Germantown from the Department of Energy. Contract award: DEMA0013280.
Jackson Creek Manufacturing, Inc of Denton (Davidson) was awarded a $198,823.66 contract for purchasing canine trailers from the Department of Homeland Security. Contract award: HSBP1016F00301.
Bryant’s Land and Development Industries, Inc. of Burnsville (Yancey) was awarded a $125,255 contract to perform repairs to the existing storm drain line at Beaufort National Cemetery from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Contract award: VA78616P0830.
Mind Your Own Business, Inc of Hendersonville (Henderson) was awarded a $375,260.00 contract for accounting services from the Department of Interior. Contract award: INS14PC00009.
Kavo Dental Technologies, LLC of Charlotte (Mecklenburg) was awarded a $165,824.64 contract for dental instruments, equipments and supplies from the Department of Health and Human Services. Contract award: HHSI245201601563G.
Burleson Research Technologies, Inc. of Morrisville (Durham) was awarded a $3,703,659.00 contract for R&D studies to evaluate the potential for environmental and therapeutic agents to induce immunotoxicity from the Department of Health and Human Services. Contract award: HHSN273201400017C.
