572 NC Contract Actions (Feb 16-29)

The federal government awarded 572 contract actions in excess of $64 million to North Carolina firms between February 16 – February 28, 2016.  The following are examples of the 572 contract actions:

KDH Defense Systems, Inc. of Eden (Rockingham County) was awarded a $441,287.00 contract for body armor, level IIIA from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award: HSBP1012J00186.

L L Brooks Enterprises Inc of Raleigh (Wake County) was awarded a $710,524.00 contract for grounds maintenance from the Department of Health and Human Services.  Contract award: HHSN292201300024C.

EC/R Incorporated of Chapel Hill (Orange County) was awarded a $265,000.00 contract for support for metals, minerals and energy sector from the Environmental Protection Agency.  Contract award: EPD12001.

Bernhardt Furniture Company, Inc of Lenoir (Caldwell County) was awarded a $63,658.39 contract for Bernhardt tables and accessories from the Millennium Challenge Corporation.  Contract award: MCC16PO0026.

Government Sales, LLC of Morehead City (Carteret County) was awarded a $54,765.02 contract for temp tracking system for Kernersville HCC from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24616P3248.

Private Diagnostic Clinic, PLLC of Durham (Durham County) was awarded a $3,194,785.56 contract for on-site anesthesiology services from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24614C0067.

Case Farms, LLC of Troutman (Iredell County) was awarded a $127,440 contract for chicken products from the Department of Agriculture.  Contract award: AG3J15P160083.

The Remi Group, LLC of Charlotte (Mecklenburg County) was awarded a $269,037.24 contract for multi-equipment maintenance from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24516F0415.

CEMPRA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. of Durham (Durham County) was awarded a $25,521,725.48 contract for solithromycin (CEM-101) for civilian use and broad bioterror threat medical countermeasures from the Department of Health and Human Services.  Contract award: HHSO100201300009C.

A-Safe, Inc. of Raleigh (Wake County) was awarded a $37,406.50 contract for traffic barriers from the Department of Treasury.  Contract award: TMDN16P0082.

Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park (Wake County) was awarded a $14,694,318.00 contract for national survey on drug use and health from the Department of Health and Human Services.  Contract award: HHSS283201300001C.

Transylvania Vocational Services, Inc. of Brevard (Transylvania County) was awarded a $452,345.48 contract for agricultural commodities purchased for domestic food distribution programs (bakery, flour mix) from the Department of Agriculture.  Contract award: AGDPROP160206.
