604 NC Contract Actions (Feb 1-15)

The federal government awarded 604 contract actions in excess of $25 million to North Carolina firms between February 1 – February 15, 2016.  The following are examples of the 604 contract actions:

WNC-GIS of Hendersonville (Henderson County) was awarded a $24,332.75 contract for critical functions FY16 crop tree release from the Department of Agriculture.  Contract award: AG4660C160004.

Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park (Wake County) was awarded a $49,953.00 contract for support for the metals, minerals and energy sector from the Environmental Protection Agency.  Contract award: EPD11084.

ECOFLO, Inc. of Greensboro (Guilford County) was awarded a $28,163.55 contract for hazardous waste removal services for Durham VAMC from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24612C0100.

Hendrick Motorsports Performance Group of Charlotte (Mecklenburg County) was awarded a $19,249.00 contract for sedan, compact, 5 passenger, 4 door, 4 cylinder engine from the General Services Administration.  Contract award: GSRPNNKF6676.

Cherokee Enterprises, Inc. of Cherokee (Mecklenburg County) was awarded a $3,474,585.00 contract for the project consisting of reconstruction and embankment stabilization of 18 storm damaged areas along Tuni Gap Road (Forest Service Route 440) within the Nantahala National Forest.  The roadway work includes eartwork, aggregate roadway resurfacing, drainage improvements, and other miscellaneous work.  The embankment stabilization work includes the construction of mechanically stabilized earth retaining walls with geogrid reinforcing and welded wire facing from the Department of Transportation.  Contract award:  DTFH7116C00012.

Tearscience, Inc. of Morrisville (Durham County) was awarded a $28,900.00 contract for thermal pulsation system from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24616P2692.

Perkins Management Services Company of Fayetteville (Cumberland County) was awarded a $60,000.00 contract for barracks management services at USCG Tracen in Yorktown, VA from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award: HSCG8416JQWE401.

Intram Company of Hickory (Catawba County) was awarded a $42,361.00 contract for bladder system on-site technical services from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award:  HSCG4013D40010160001.

KDH Defense Systems, Inc of Eden (Rockingham County) was awarded a $2,244,280.00 contract for body armor – level IIIA from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award: HSBP1015J00281.

LED/MEI One of Pembroke (Robeson County) was awarded a $582,031.36 contract for HVAC services at JJRTC from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award: HSSS0115C0010.

Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park (Wake County) was awarded a $3,073,055.00 contract for tobacco website capture internet surveillance from the Department of Health and Human Services.  Contract award: HHSF223201310921G.
