705 NC Contract Actions (Feb 1-28)

The federal government awarded 705 contract actions in excess of $62 million to North Carolina firms between Feb 1 – Feb 28, 2017.  The following are examples of the 705 contract actions:

(Rockingham County) KDH Defense Systems, Inc of Eden was awarded a $2,682,160.00 contract for body armor for office of border patrol (field replacement) from the Department of Homeland Security. Contract award: HSBP1017J00064.
 
(Chowan County) Jimbo’s Jumbos, Inc. of Edenton was awarded a $162,359.20 contract for peanut products from the Department of Agriculture. Contract award: 123J1417P0685
 
(Durham County) Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park was awarded a $436,000.00 contract for support for the metals, minerals and energy sector from the Environmental Protection Agency. Contract award: EPD11084
 
(Forsyth County) Carolina Business Interiors Diversified Services, Inc. of Winston-Salem was awarded a $122,781.82 contract for office furniture from the Department of Agriculture. Contract award: AG4670D170054
 
(Carteret County) Senior Care Properties, Inc of Morehead City was awarded a $360,672.00 contract for adult day care services from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Contract award: VA24617J3053
 
(Durham County) Research Triangle Institute of Research Triangle Park was awarded a $4,389,005.00 contract for chemistry services for the National Toxicology Program from the Department of Health and Human Services. Contract award: HHSN273201400022C
 
(Mecklenburg County) U.S. ISS Agency, LLC of Huntersville was awarded a $100,000.00 contract for background investigations from the Department of Homeland Security. Contract award: HSTS0713FFDO094
 
(Forsyth County) Wake Forest University Health Sciences was awarded a $409,422.98 contract for vascular surgery from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Contract award: VA24617C0018
 
(Pasquotank County) Skills Inc of Elizabeth City was awarded a $98,508.50 contract to provide janitorial services at the US Coast Guard Base Elizabeth City from the Department of Homeland Security. Contract award: HSCG8415CAA5470
 
(Alexander County) Westminster Nursing Center, Inc. of Taylorsvile was awarded $366,055.00 contract for nursing home service from the Department of Veterans Affairs. Contract award: VA24617J2745
 
(Mecklenburg County) Hendrick Motorsports Performance Group of Charlotte was awarded a $92,475.00 contract for sedan, compact, 5 passenger, 4 door, 4-cylinder engine from the General Services Administration. Contract award: GSRPNNLH313717
 
(Harnett County) TCP Concrete Construction, Inc. of Angier was awarded a $4,365,291.80 contract to repair Air Station aircraft aprons from the Department of Homeland Security. Contract award: HSCG8317CPCR020
 
(New Hanover) Eileen Stephens, LLC of Wilmington was awarded an $84,910.00 contract for business support services to support reorganizations and delegations from the Department of Health and Human Services. Contract award: HHSP233201700035A
 
(Orange County) LC IND Incorporated of Durham was awarded a $63,314.25 contract for paper towels from the General Services Administration. Contract award: GSNMNJU2216717
