766 NC Contract Actions (Mar 16-31)

The federal government awarded 766 contract actions in excess of $397 million to North Carolina firms between March 16 – March 31, 2016.  The following are examples of the 766 contract actions:

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Durham County) was awarded a $150,000.00 contract for emission, air quality and meteorological modeling support from the Environmental Protection Agency.  Contract award: EPD12044

Kimley-Horn and Associates, Inc of Cary (Chatham County) was awarded a $291,241.64 contract for USFWS urban transportation connections study – A/E support (program code G5BE EFLHD projects, USFWS) from the Department of Transportation.  Contract award: 5009

Chamber Mtn Construction, Inc of Clyde (Haywood County) was awarded a $40,294.49 contract for renovation work and installation of video surveillance system for the Department of Interior.  Contract award: INA16PX00723

Duke Cogema Stone & Webster of Charlotte (Mecklenburg County) was awarded a $180,200,000.00 contract for mixed oxide (MOX) fuel fabrication and reactor irradiation services from the Department of Energy.  Contract award: DEAC0299CH1088

Government Sales, LLC of Morehead City (Carteret County) was awarded a $37,584.85 contract for ice machines from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA24716F1497

Garcia Forest Service, LLC of Rockingham (Richmond County) was awarded a $57,073.24 contract to furnish all of the necessary equipment, materials, supplies, tools, labor, transportation, supervision and other miscellaneous work necessary to perform herbicide site prep and release on 202 acres on the Apalachicola National Forest, Leon, Wakulla and Liberty counties Florida in accordance with the specifications and maps from the Department of Agriculture.  Contract award: AG4283D160038

Cape Fear Land Management, Inc of Wilmington (New Hanover County) was awarded a $69,822.57 contract for cemetery grounds maintenance from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA78615C0003

McCall’s Grading & Construction, Inc of Balsam Grove (Transylvania County) was awarded a $34,471.00 contract for Cathey’s Creek and Davidson River road work from the Department of Agriculture.  Contract award: AG4670C160072

Military Wraps, Inc of Lumberton (Robeson County) was awarded a $62,784.00 contract for wrap for ISO shipping containers (PRITTSM) from the Department of Justice.  Contract award: DJU4500524092

Sampson Contracting, Inc of Raleigh (Wake County) was awarded a $1,899,812.00 contract for major M&R of waterfront at USCG Station Hobucken in North Carolina from the Department of Homeland Security.  Contract award: HSCG8316JPCR022

Laboratory Corporation of America of Burlington (Guilford County) was awarded a $70,000.00 contract for offsite reference lab testing services from the Department of Veterans Affairs.  Contract award: VA25116J0439

Global Knowledge Training, LLC of Cary (Durham County) was awarded a $198,900.00 contract for AFCENT training vouchers from the General Services Administration.  Contract award: GSQ4016SJ0034
