Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) has joined a consortium with Microsoft, Cristie Digital, HP, Dell, Nvidia, EON Reality and Navigator Development Group to establish the first Interactive Digital Center (IDC) for training and development in the US.  Beginning next month, the College will be offering a 16-week curriculum of five courses which will provide the training necessary to develop i3D content using the EON Reality family of software.

An intensive series of courses will immerse the student into the world of interactive 3D culminating in the creation of a 3D object for education or training.

The College has established the IDC in the Harry F. Shaw Virtual College Center on its main campus.  FTCC will have the high definition display capabilities to showcase the i3D content on the campus to include a 16x24 foot projection screen.
