L-3 Communications Seeking to Fill Vacancies with Veterans

L-3 Communications located in Fayetteville, N.C. is looking to fill multiple job vacancies with veterans of the service. L-3 vacant positions include - Imagery System Specialist, Intelligence Analyst Level 2 and Senior Intelligence Analyst.  The primary candidate will have a military intelligence background. Security Clearance Required TS/SCI.

Imagery System Specialist- The imagery analyst exploits imagery and geo-spatial data from satellite and airborne systems in support of military operations. Plans and recommends the use of imaging sensors for reconnaissance and surveillance mission.  Produce intelligence by studying and exploiting imagery to include visible, infrared and radar, both fixed and Moving Target Indicator (MTI) and geo spatial data. Identify conventional and unconventional military installations, facilities, weapon systems, Orders of Battle (OB), military equipment and defenses. Identify lines of communications (LOC) and industrial facilities. Determine precise location and dimensions of objects. Conduct physical Battle Damage Assessment (BDA). Prepares imagery analysis reports and fused geo spatial products. Provide guidance to subordinate analysts. Identify avenues of approach. Conduct functional BDA analysis. Determine National Imagery Interpretation Rating Scale (NIIRS) of imagery. Prepares detailed free text narrative and topical imagery intelligence products and reports.

Background and Experience Required (a): (including education, skills, work activities and clearance required): Imagery Analyst with strong imagery background including Full Motion Video (FMV) and/or Predator or All-Source Analyst or SIGINT Analyst with Extensive Geospatial Tools usage (ArcView, ArcGIS, NSA proprietary tools) Four + years of Imagery Experience and at least 8 years of overall Intel experience. You must be willing to deploy at least 120 days a year on a 1/3 rotation cycle.   Security Clearance Required TS/SCI

Intelligence Analyst Level 2:     The intelligence analyst conducts analysis, develops and disseminates all-source intelligence products. Performs, coordinates, and/or supervises the Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB) process; Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) Synchronization; and support to targeting. Prepare all-source intelligence products to support the combat commander. Establish and maintain systematic, cross-referenced intelligence records and files. Receives and process incoming reports and messages. Determine significance and reliability of incoming information.  Integrate incoming information with current intelligence holdings and prepares and maintains the situation map. Conduct analysis and evaluation of intelligence holdings to determine changes in enemy capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action. Conduct IPB using information from all sources. Analyze current intelligence holdings to identify gaps, and subsequent intelligence collection requirements. Consider enemy Order of Battle records in the development of collection tasks and assessment of enemy vulnerabilities and probable courses of action. Assist in the preparation of reports on captured enemy material. Drafts periodic and special intelligence reports, plans, and briefings.

Background and Experience Required (a): (including education, skills, work activities and clearance required) College degree and/or 2 - 7 years of experience as an Intelligence Analyst. Active TS/SCI required 

Background and Experience Desired (b): (including education, skills, work activities and clearance desired): Experience working with Special Operations Forces

Senior Intelligence Analyst:  Receive analysis, disseminate, and store intelligence information. Conduct the IPB process. Quality controls analysis performed. Assist in the preparation of indicators to satisfy priority intelligence requirements. Provide indicators and current situation briefings. Receives, produces and disseminates intelligence reports containing information obtained from all-sources. Assemble enemy intelligence information and material. Coordinates flow of intelligence information between intelligence disciplines and monitors the all-source production process.
 
Background and Experience required (a): (including education, skills, work activities and clearance required): Minimum 8 years as an analyst; 5 years have to be operational/tactical; 4-year degree required, Master's preferred Degree requirements waive able. Senior Intelligence Analyst with SOF intelligence knowledge responsible for researching, developing and presenting intelligence products at the operational level for senior leaders including: counter terrorism analysis, regional issues, HUMINT, SIGINT, political/military analysis and support to targeting.    Security Clearance Required TS/SCI

This workshop is part of an ongoing partnership with the Employment Readiness Program and Fayetteville Technical Community College Human Resource Department.
