Senator Richard Burr is pleased to host a Federal Contracts Fair for North Carolina's Small Businesses on Jun 22, 2009, 9:00 am – 12:30 pm at Craven Community College, 800 College Court, New Bern, NC.

Talk one-on-one with federal agencies and industry officials to address your business's needs. The workshop will focus on competitive contract opportunities available to small businesses.

National Contract Management Association (NCMA) & Navy of Hampton Roads Present the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Conference, Jun 30, 2009
Located at the Meyera A. Oberndorf Central Library, 4100 Virginia Beach Boulevard, Virginia Beach, VA 23452-1767, registration is from 8:30-9:00 am, program starting at 9:00 am – 4:00 pm. The USDA Forest Service, Southern Region, has scheduled a FREE conference to be held in Charlotte, NC, on July 7, 2009, for interested construction firms.  The Forest Service is especially interested in firms providing services covered by the following NAICS Codes: 236210, 236220, 237110, 237310, 237990, 238160, 238210, and 238220. 
The conference will be held at the Holiday Inn, 321 W. This five day workshop will effectively assist you in your job search. You will learn how to correctly fill out an application, write a winning resume, assess your skills and much more. This workshop is part of an ongoing partnership with the Employment Readiness Program and Fayetteville Technical Community College Human Resource Department.
