NIH SCHEDULES THE RELEASE OF A $20B IDIQ IT CONTRACT
The Health and Human Services departments’ National Institutes of Health’s acquisition center has announce the release of the RFP NIHJT2010001 by September 1, 2010. The contract, called CIO-SP3 (Chief Information Officers-Solutions and Partners 3) will be the follow on contract to the current CIO-SP2 which has 69+ awardees. The value of the procurement is estimated to be $20 Billion over its life of 5 years with an additional 5-year option. There will also be a small business set-aside contract with similar requirements that is to be released in mid September 2010.
