Sited directly from Google’s blog, these include:
• VetConnect: This tool helps servicemembers connect, communicate and share their experiences with others who have served using the Google+ platform (http://vetconnect.googleforveterans.com/)
• Google Veterans Channel: A YouTube channel for discussion about military service for veterans, their families and the public. EXPLORE YOUR LIFE AFTER SERVICE
In the section titled “Explore your life after service”, veterans transitioning into the workforce can find useful resources such as preparation tools like resume building as well as an online job search (https://www.nationalresourcedirectory.gov/home/veterans_job_bank) focusing on military-friendly employers. It includes job exploration, assistance with finances or a start-up business, as well as stories from other prior service members about their experiences transitioning into the civilian workforce.
