ProductCampRTP to Return this Month

MORRISVILLE, N.C. June 1, 2012 – The third annual ProductCampRTP will be held at Cambria Suites in Morrisville on Saturday, June 16, 2012, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. The event is expected to attract numerous product management, product marketing, project management and engineering professionals within the area.

The 2012 ProductCampRTP packs a half-day with three sessions of serious games and activities. The theme is to improve ProductCampRTP as a product. Attendees will use Innovation Games®, a popular game methodology for qualitative market research and problem solving, through collaborative play. The games have been used extensively by organizations around the world to identify and solve high-level problems, while also gathering customer insights. The planning team continues to refine the design of the half-day camp to include breakfast and networking, a rotation through multiple games and a networking lunch.

“ProductCampRTP is a wonderful way for product developers and designers to come together and sharpen existing skills while learning new ones,” says Montie Roland, president of Montie Design and a ProductCampRTP organizer. “Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, it is free for attendees.”

Sponsors include Kompleks Creative, Pragmatic Marketing, Proficientz, Enthiosys, Hobson Strategic Vision and Cambria Suites. ProductCampRTP planning committee members are still seeking active participants and additional sponsors. For more information, visit http://www.productcamprtp.org.

About ProductCamp

ProductCamp is an “unconference,” which means that participants will not only have the opportunity to attend, but can present if they wish. Specific topics are chosen on the day of the event by the attendees, making topics covered both timely and relevant to the participants. The ProductCamp concept began in Silicon Valley in 2008, and the idea has since spread to more than 20 cities around the world.
