Assisted NC businesses in winning 3,451 contracts minimum value of $13.26 billion

COVID-19 Resources

The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) is currently fully operational.  Due to the North Carolina Governor’s declaration of a public health emergency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Interim Guidance for COVID-19, travel restrictions and social distancing measures in place, several NCMBC staff members are working remotely in compliance with their host Community Colleges’ COVID-19 mitigation procedures.

During this time, we ask businesses to contact NCMBC staff (http://www.ncmbc.us/contact-us-ncmbc_staff/) to schedule meetings.  We remain committed to supporting North Carolina businesses during these difficult times.

The NCMBC:

    • conducting counseling and solicitation/proposal assistance by conference call (to adhere to social distancing)
    • intensifying daily distribution of selected federal contract opportunities, analyzed by NCMBC business development professionals
    • maintaining automatic matching and distribution of ALL beta.SAM contract opportunities via www.MatchForce.org to registered NC businesses
    • distributing COVID-19 federal research and development opportunity notices to DEFTECH-registered entities
    • working with several government contracting offices to conduct FY20 3Q and 4Q requirements webinars for small businesses
    • working with prime contractors to schedule virtual teaming forums and to post subcontractor/supplier requirements on the NCMBC Invitations to Bid page (http://www.ncmbc.us/invitations-to-bid-subcontractor-request/)

As resources and opportunities become available for business, we will continue to update this website.
