Defense Trade Show: Exhibitor Information

The below information is for the use of confirmed exhibitors of the Defense Trade Show. If you are not a confirmed exhibitor, please review the exhibitor application link to the right (once all spaces have filled), the exhibitor application will no longer be active. 


On Monday, August 1st, a free breakfast will be held at Fayetteville Technical Community College in the Tony Rand Student Center, Multi-Purpose Room for all exhibitors and invited guests (2201 Hull Road, Fayetteville, NC 28303) with program beginning at 8:00 am.  All Trade Show Exhibitor participants are encouraged to attend this event.  Please arrive no later than 7:40 am so that program can begin promptly at 8:00 am.

Following the Defense Trade Show breakfast, the 15th Annual Defense & Economic Development Trade Show will begin at 10:30 am on the Fayetteville Technical Community College Campus.  All exhibitors are to be set-up by 10:00 am. Senator Richard Burr, Senator Thom Tillis and other elected officials will officially open the Defense Trade Show with a ribbon cutting on the Trade Show gymnasium stage at 10:15 am. 

The Trade Show will be held in the Horace Sisk Building on Fayetteville Technical Community College campus at 2201 Hull Road, Fayetteville, NC.  Parking is available in lots #3, 3a, 6 & 20.  Unloading of exhibitor materials is available in lot #12.

BOOTH EQUIPMENT: Each booth will be provided with:

  • One 6 ft. undraped table, Two Chairs, One electrical outlet

  • Exhibits that are within the gymnasium (spaces #1-65) are 8 foot wide by 6 foot deep. 

  • Exhibits that are within the building hallway space are table-top display only (spaces #66-85).

NOTE: The exhibit hall floor is not carpeted.

Time: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
The building will lock at 5:00 PM, please arrive in time to complete set-up prior to 5:00 PM.


Monday, August 1, 2016
Time: 7:00 AM

Set-up is encouraged on July 31 so that all exhibitors can attend the breakfast on August 1 at 7:40 AM.


We ask that no dismantling of displays or packing of products occurs before 3:30 PM, August 1st. The exhibit hall, however, must be cleared by 4:30 PM.

ASSISTANCE IN PLANNING:  In preparation for the Trade Show, please ensure your exhibit space is contained within the table top display frame (outlined in the “Booth Equipment” section), unless additional requirements have already been cleared with Courtney Smedick.

DRESS ATTIRE Business casual, ACU’s or equivalent for military representatives. 

WIRELESS INTERNET Wireless Internet will be available during the Trade Show.  Please allow your computer to access the open network titled: defense.  Open your Internet browser, press “accept” on the Terms & Conditions screen, enter the user name defense and password: ts2016

CANCELLATION:  If you need to cancel your exhibit space for any reason, please let either Courtney Smedick or Tammy Wallace (contact information below) know as soon as possible so that a company on the wait list can receive your space.

No signs, merchandise or any other items are to be pinned, stapled or otherwise attached to any Fayetteville Technical Community College property. Exhibitors shall be responsible for any damage or loss of materials placed on the show floor.
