2019 SAME Ft Bragg Industry Day & Post Scholarship Golf Tournament — May 21, 2019

It is the “BEST!”

Yes, it has been and continues to be the BEST golf tournament in the region for our military facility architectural and engineering network, but it also Benefits Education in Science and Technology.

On May 21, 2019 we will hold the SAME Ft Bragg Post Scholarship Golf Tournament to benefit the Scholarship Fund.


As in years past, we’re expecting a great day of golf, networking, and fellowship at the beautiful Carolina Trace Country Club “Lakes” Course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr. in Sanford, NC ( The event includes Captain’s Choice Golf, practice range, with box lunch, prizes, and awards reception following the golf.

This year our event will be held in conjunction with a Ft Bragg Post “Industry Day” during the morning before the Golf Tournament starts.  Plan to attend the industry day too, and hear about the engineering, architectural, and continuing operations opportunities at the Ft Bragg installation.  Information on the Industry Day agenda and plan details will be distributed to the Post Members & Friends.  This site will be used for registration purposes only, and provide a convenient portal to remit registration fees.
Here’s the timeline:
0800 — Industry Day Check In and Breakfast
0830 — Keynote Speaker
The Morning Keynote Speaker will be Ms. Aregnaz Mooradian, Lead Business Opportunity Specialist, from the Small Business Association, Charlotte District Office!
0900-1130 — Installation Discussions and Matchmaking Sessions.  Representatives will include:
1.  Fort Bragg Womack Army Medical Center and Robinson Health Clinic.

2.  Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works Environmental Department.

3.  Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works Energy Department (Aaron Brown, Chief Operation and Maintenance Division)
4.  Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works Master Planning Division (Robert Fleming, representative, Master Planning Division)
5.  Fort Bragg Directorate of Public Works Engineering Division (Vicki Gatling, Chief Engineering Division, Derrick Mcrae, Mechanical Engineer, & Brian Vesely, Architect)
6.  Small Business Office — Aregnaz Mooradianto
7. Add US Army Corps of Engineers
1130-1230 — Closing discussion and lunch for Industry Day only attendees
1200-1245 — Golf Tournament Check In and Box Lunch
1245 — Tournament Greeting and Announcements
1300 — Shotgun Start
1800 (plus/minus) — Tournament Dinner, Speaker, and Prizes/Awards

The Dinner Speaker will be Justin Mitchell, Deputy to the Garrison Commander at Ft Bragg!

To be clear — You can attend just the Industry Day, just the Golf, or BOTH!
