The NCMBC Gap Analysis is an on-going program to assess the
future procurement needs and contracting requirements of the Department
of Defense, including North Carolina military installations, versus
the capacity of NC companies to meet these requirements. The initial product of this study is a series of reports
that economic development entities can use to support
their recruitment and development of defense related industries in North Carolina.
AngelouEconomics,
an economic development company, in partnership with Jane's Information Group, conducted the initial Gap Analysis study. Their reports are available on this page. The NCMBC will maintain and update the Gap Analysis study in
the future.
