BIOGRAPHY
Jon Ramsey joined the North Carolina Military Business Center, as a business developer in June 2020. In this role he connects North Carolina businesses and organizations to Department of Defense and federal business opportunities; identifies lucrative and attractive solicitations and provides this info to NC businesses; helps match North Carolina capabilities with federal requirements; and helps North Carolina companies prepare, present and execute strategies to win federal business. He also executes other assignments to support the NCMBC mission to leverage military and other federal business opportunities to expand the economy, grow jobs and improve quality of life in North Carolina.

Jon is a retired Medical Service Corps Officer from the US Army.  His assignments over his 20 plus year career have included Director of Logistics, Womack Army Medical Center Ft, Bragg NC. 18th Airborne Corps Medical Logistics Officer, 44th Medical Brigade S4, 82nd Airborne Division Medical Logistics Officer, and other numerous assignments. He served in 4 combat deployments to various countries in the middle east and was stationed on Ft. Bragg for 11 years.

Jon is originally from South Carolina but now calls North Carolina his permanent home along with his family.  Jon is looking forward to tackling the next phase of his career as a civilian at the NC Military Business Center, helping NC businesses to grow and prosper here in North Carolina.
