Training Session Summaries.
Purpose: To understand the source selection process. How the government evaluates contractors? Understanding what the Government is asking for in the RFP. Debriefing should you not win, what to ask the Government regarding your proposal. Understand how the government identifies evaluation factors and rates contractor’s proposal. Understand the competitive range determination. Understand the Two Phased source selection and Low Price Technically Acceptable approach.
Target Audiences: Contractors already in the Federal Market, contractors who are interested in entering the Federal Market, or to gain a better understanding of the source selection process.
- QC/QA & Safety-
Purpose: This course familiarizes contractor project management team personnel with NAVFAC and US Army Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management concepts and USACE Safety and Health EM 385 project requirements and procedures. This course is a facilitated through visual media and lecture instruction. The course is divided into two major sections Quality Control and Safety Program management. This course is designed to involve the student in the learning and teaching process by interaction with relevant examples and active participation. Practical interactive exercises are included where students are divided into teams, which then hold a preparatory control phase meeting and develop a thorough activity hazard analysis.
Target Audience: Federal Construction Project Execution Team Member of the General Contractors, Subcontractors and Vendors.
