NCMBC/DEFTECH Appoint Todd Ferry as Program Manager

The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) and North Carolina Defense Technology Transition (DEFTECH) Office are pleased to announce the appointment of Todd Ferry as DEFTECH Program Manager.  Prior to joining the NCMBC/DEFTECH, Todd retired from the US Marine Corps after serving 30-years, last serving as the Deputy Commander of Marine Corps Installations East and Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

65 North Carolina Companies Awarded Grants for Innovative Research and Development

The North Carolina Board of Science, Technology & Innovation announced today that 65 innovative small businesses in North Carolina have received 73 grants to develop and commercialize groundbreaking new technologies with the potential for commercialization. In North Carolina fiscal year 2023, which ended June 30, the One North Carolina Small Business Program awarded nearly $2.05 million to pioneering small businesses in 19 counties across the state.
