DEFTECH Launches New Collaboration Tool for You!

WHY: To help NC Innovation Ecosystem members grow their business by meeting warfighters’ current and future technology needs.  Our goal is to elevate awareness of opportunities and increase your wins in the federal marketplace.  DEFTECH will use the platform as an additional tool to keep you updated on DEFTECH events, activities, business opportunities, and programs related to federal emerging technology requirements. 

WHAT: Mobilize is a private information sharing platform that allows DEFTECH members to collaborate; share knowledge; advertise business opportunities related to emerging federal technology requirements; create teaming opportunities; and inform best practices. It’s easy to use and will take about 10 minutes to sign-up.  There is more information inside the DEFTECH Mobilize Community to help you navigate the community space. 

HOW: Use this link to sign up:

  1.  Create a welcome post in the DEFTECH Community Lounge and say “Hi” to the community Upload a picture and share some information about yourself to connect with others. Your profile becomes your “Virtual Business Card,” ensuring you reflect your brand with updates as required.
  2. Enter the Company Registryand create a “baseball card” to highlight your organization’s brand and value proposition, core competencies, website, social media links, etc.  Add a “Key Words” section so other members can easily find you in a community search. The Company Registry will become a virtual exhibit hall highlighting our community organizations and capabilities. Be creative.
  3. Visit the NC DEFTECH Opps Channel, where you can track emerging federal technology opportunities. Review analysis, ask questions and seek teaming partners.
  4. NCMBC CyberChats is a community designed to help defense contractors build a cybersecurity compliance program. You will learn about the CMMC and DFARS cybersecurity requirements to secure the Defense Industrial Base (DIB).
  5. Finally, please check the highlights section for each group as we post new information and links to make your experience in the DEFTECH Mobilize Community productive.
