NC STATEWIDE FREIGHT MULTIMODAL PLAN UPDATE FORUMS

May 17 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Connecting people and goods through freight movement is essential to keep the economy moving and provide a better quality of life for all. Because of this, the N.C. Department of Transportation is hosting two forums to gather input on freight needs and challenges in our state. Your participation will help inform the Multimodal Freight Plan Update and identify ways that NCDOT can support the movement of freight more efficiently and effectively.

During this meeting, the department will present information on the current and future status of North Carolina’s multimodal freight system, which includes air cargo, ports and waterways, pipelines, rail, trucks and highways. We would like your feedback on areas to improve and what is currently being planned across the state. There will be opportunities for discussion and comment.

Both meetings will present the same information and address the Statewide Multimodal Freight System. Please attend one of the virtual meetings as your schedule allows.

Tuesday, May 17 from 3- 5 p.m.
Thursday, May 19 from 10a.m.-12 p.m.

Please register in advance of the meetings by using the link below:
