Southeast North Carolina Military Business Outreach

The Southeastern North Carolina Military Business Outreach invites businesses (large and small) to attend and learn about federal procurements.
When. November 18, 2021
Please note: This free event will have a morning session (9:00 AM-12:30 PM) and an afternoon session (1:30 PM-5:00 PM), with the same information being passed at both sessions.  We know some of you like mornings and some like afternoons so we are offering identical sessions to best meet your busy schedules.  There will also be a virtual component for this event those who cannot attend in person.

What. This event is all about helping your business be as competitive as possible for government contracts.  You will leave this event with a better understanding of:
  • How the eleven contracting/procuring offices supporting Camp Lejeune that support the installation solicit and manage contract requirements
  • What supplies and services are procured in support of the installation, as well as forecasts for upcoming requirements
  • The robust support network that exists to assist your businesses to be as competitive as possible for government contracts.

About NCMBC. The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) is a business development and technology transition organization, headquartered at and supported by Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) and serving at community colleges statewide. The mission of the NCMBC is to leverage military and other federal business opportunities to expand the economy, grow jobs and improve quality of life in North Carolina. The NCMBC’s primary goal is to increase federal revenues for businesses in North Carolina. The Department of Defense has an annual impact of $66 billion and is the second largest sector of North Carolina’s economy (12% GDP). With six major military bases, over 100 National Guard and Reserve component facilities and the third highest number of uniformed military personnel in the country, the State of North Carolina created the NCMBC to leverage opportunities with these installations, DoD commands and federal agencies operating worldwide. Supported businesses have won at least 4,006 contracts with a minimum value of $15.76 billion.
