DESCRIPTION:U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs \nOFFICE OF CONSTRUCTION & FACILITIES MANAGEMENT (CFM) \nThis is an invitation for Women Owned Small Businesses\, Women Owned Veteran Small Businesses\, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses\, Veteran Owned Small Businesses\, and all other business concerns interested in doing business with the Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM)\, to participate in Woman Owned Small Business Industry Day 2023. \nGOAL:\nProvide resources and networking opportunity for Women Owner Small Businesses\,\nService-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses\, and other business concerns that want to do business with the Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM). Initiate successful focused community engagements in support of President’s EO 13985 and the VA’s mission of delivering world class infrastructure for Veteran’s healthcare and memorial. \nAPPROACH:\nCFM seeks to increase its accomplishments towards the WOSB goal of 5% thru a focused outreach that encourages more WOSB to respond to solicitations. \nA series of collaborative engagements seek to create economic opportunities that directly support the President’s Executive Order (EO) 13985. This EO aims to increase procurement opportunities to under-served communities.
