Join Ingela of Courageous Artistry to learn how to manage anxiety using tools and tricks from psychology so we can put our best foot forward\, and use our bodies and voices to help convey confidence. \nIngela Onstad\, Courageous Artistry \nIngela Onstad Bio \nIngela Onstad\, MM\, LMHC\, BCC\, holds a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and specializes in performance anxiety for musicians and other performing artists. She has completed thousands of hours of clinical experience with a variety of ages and issues and has presented on the topic of performance anxiety at institutions such as the University of New Mexico\, Colby College\, Fort Lewis College\, New Mexico School for the Arts\, Tulane University\, Portland State University\, University of Texas at El Paso\, and Rio Grande NATS. Operatic highlights include performances at Dresden’s Staatsoperette\, Oldenburgisches Staatstheater\, Landestheater Schleswig-Holstein\, and the Santa Fe Opera. \nMs. Onstad’s concert work includes Mozart’s Exsultate\, Jubilate\, Barber’s Knoxville Summer of 1915\, Handel’s Messiah\, Mahler Symphony No. 4\, Villa-Lobos’ Bachianas Brasileiras No. 5\, and Haydn’s The Creation\, with groups such as the New Mexico Philharmonic\, Bad Reichenhaller Philharmonie\, Chicago Arts Orchestra\, and the Santa Fe Symphony. \nA sought-after interpreter of contemporary works\, she has debuted two roles in world-premiere operas (Kampe’s ANOIA and Strauss’ Los Bufones)\, as well as operatic roles in works by Bibalo (Fräulein Julie) and Ullman (Der Kaiser von Atlantis) and iconic works like Schoenberg’s Pierrot Lunaire.
