Topics trained include: levels of federal purchasing; how the federal government buys products\, construction and engineering and non-personal services; marketing a business to the federal government; socio-economic small business programs; registering as a federal contractor; locating\, identifying and responding to federal business opportunities; and resources available to assist federal contractors in North Carolina. \nRegistration. DESCRIPTION:Join us on January 17 for a webinar to hear an economic forecast from Laura Ullrich! Laura was with NCEDA for the 2023 Annual Conference last summer to share more about innovative workforce development solutions\, and she left everyone wanting to hear more!\n\n\nLaura’s webinar presentation will include a look into what to expect in the economy in 2024\, with special attention paid to GDP growth\, employment and inflation. A deep dive into the future of work will also provide insights into what to anticipate in the years to come! \nLaura is the Senior Regional Economist at the Charlotte branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond. Prior to joining the FRB\, Laura was an associate dean for undergraduate programs and a professor of economics at Winthrop University. Her research interests include higher education\, school finance reform\, local and state level tax and expenditure analyses\, and the economic impact of local development.
