DESCRIPTION:Purpose\nSOFWERX\, in coordination with the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP)\, will provide a forum for Small Businesses with technologies that support National Security Interests and/or the USSOCOM technology interest areas to learn more about doing business with USSOCOM. Additionally\, the event will provide an opportunity for Small Business engagement with government stakeholders\, investors\, and prime contractors in the form of “Speed Dating.” See objective for more details. \nThe OSBP is dedicated to helping you and your business. They will explain known requirements\, help you understand who buys what within the Command\, and can assist you in locating other likely markets within DoW and developing strategies for accessing those markets. They provide information and guidance on defense procurement policies and procedures as well as methods for identifying prime contracting and subcontracting opportunities. \nWhen. March 24-26\, 2026 \nWhere. SOFWERX \nObjective\nDay 1: Presenters will provide an overview of USSOCOM\, information on the basic components and requirements of working with the Department of War\, and how to engage with USSOCOM.  There will also be breakout sessions to allow attendees to pick a topic based on their own learning objectives and an opportunity to hear success stories from two companies. The day will end with a social event. \nDay 2: The second day will consist of more presentations\, covering topics like Foreign Ownership\, Control\, or Influence (FOCI) and Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC)\, and information on raising capital. \nDay 3: The third and final day will consist of an update on USSOCOM’s Investor engagement strategy and the SOF Ventures Pilot Program.
