New Cybersecurity DFARS Clauses in the Interim Rule (June 16, Virtual)

The North Carolina Military Business Center is pleased to host Chris Newborn, CISSP, Professor, Information Technology (Cybersecurity Specialization) at the Defense Acquisition University to discuss New Cybersecurity DFARS Clauses in the Interim Rule on June 16, 2021 starting at 1100.

When. June 16, 2021 starting at 1100

Platform. The NCMBC will host this session on the Zoom for Government platform. Credentials will be provided following registration.

About. In this session you will get the most current information on the DFARS cybersecurity clauses. The DFARS Interim Rule that came out in the 4th quarter of 2020 has created a lot of confusion for defense contractors and the acquisition workforce – particularly since we are now seeing all three of the new clauses AND the old DFARS clause AND the FAR cybersecurity clause in solicitations.

Chris Newborn will help us understand the new DFARS clauses and determine the applicability of the clauses, give us his perspective on what’s to come in 2021/2022, and answer your cybersecurity questions.
