Presented by Nora Milley, Improvement Specialist, NC State University Industry Expansion Solutions (IES)
This webinar is for:
In many cases, when organizations seek help to implement management systems, they focus only on the requirements of the standard without pausing to understand the full intent and principles of the quality management system standards. Understanding the principles of the standard and the process approach will help bring more clarity to the requirements.
From this webinar, participants will gain an understanding of the importance of defining processes correctly and the difference between processes, procedures, and areas/functions. These differences are often confused which, in most cases, complicates the understanding and application of the requirements.
By applying the process approach, organizations will be on the right track to have a system they can manage and that is focused to give value to their activities and to achieve the desired organizational results.
