Biography:
Colonel (Retired) Martin J. (Jimmy) Hendrix III joined NCMBC in Jan of 2025 to support NC business as a Strategic Industry Professional with a focus on the DoW organic industrial base and logistics.

Prior to joining NCMBC, Jimmy Served as a Department of the Army Civilian leading the Operations Division and then the Supply Maintenance and Contracting Division in the US Army Forces Command Logistics Directorate (G-4). 

Jimmy retired from the US Army after more than 25 years of active service as an ordnance and multifunctional logistics officer.  His final assignment was command of the Rock Island Arsenal – Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center.  RIA-JMTC is the Army’s only vertically integrated metal manufacturing organization and includes the Army’s Center of Excellence for Advanced Manufacturing. 

Jimmy’s experience includes leading US Army logistics organizations and staffs in the Central and Eastern United States, the Republic of Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan. He has commanded Army formations at the company, battalion, and brigade level.  Jimmy has experience supporting installation, training, and combat logistics, as well as support to disaster relief and other civil operations.

Jimmy holds Masters Degrees from both the US Naval War College and the US Army War College in National Security and Strategy.

Jimmy is a Fayetteville, NC native and a graduate of Appalachian State University.  Jimmy
