BIOGRAPHY. Tonia has 17 years of construction experience including her previous roles as Project Officer for the US Army Corps of Engineers in support of the US Army Reserve Command MILCON Program and as a Senior Project Manager managing construction projects in the National Capitol Region. She is the Executive Director, Founder and Podcast Host for the nonprofit Mothers In Construction. Tonia’s experience spans across several market sectors to include historic preservation and restoration, commercial, marine construction, residential, institutional, federal, healthcare and K-12 education.  She has been a critical team member in the management of over $1 Billion in construction projects.

The wife of a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army, Tonia also holds a Bachelor of Architecture professional degree from Howard University. She is currently an associate member of the American Institute of Architects, member of the National Association of Black Women in Construction, and member of National Association of Women in Construction.
