Biography.  Donna Walton joined the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) in January 2021 as a Business Development Professional.  Prior to joining NCMBC, Ms. Walton was actively involved in supporting the business community in North Carolina and across the country in receiving federal government contracts.

Ms. Walton retired from the federal government with 29 years of civil service.  Ms. Walton retired as the Deputy for Small Business, Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District.  Ms. Walton served in this position for 10 years, helping industry through the federal acquisition process and the District’s Commanding Officer achieve the District’s socio-economic small business goals.  Additionally, Ms. Walton spent 19 years with the USCG, Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, NC, as a warranted contracting officer/contract specialist with the LRS product line.  Aviation experience also includes the inventory management side of depot level maintenance as ALC provides depot maintenance and supplies for all USCG Aircraft.

Ms. Walton earned her Bachelors of Science in Business Administration from Becker College.

Ms. Walton and family reside in Wilmington, NC.
