Summary

Join the North Carolina Military Business Center for an information session in advance of the DoW SciTechCONNECT North Carolina Regional Pop-Up (April 29, 2026, Greensboro). The Regional Pop-Up is designed to break down barriers to entry and educate, motivate, and inspire new potential performers from small businesses, industry, and academia to engage with the Department of War and grow the national security innovation ecosystem.

Purpose

This is a short prep session to help North Carolina small businesses, researchers, and innovation partners understand what SciTechCONNECT is, what the North Carolina Regional Pop-Up is designed to do, and how to show up ready to engage during the April 29 program (DoW officials and leaders, direct Q and A, and pathways into DoW science and technology).

What is SciTechCONNECT

DoW SciTechCONNECT is a front door into the Department of War’s innovation ecosystem. It helps first time and nontraditional performers navigate pathways, understand priority areas, and connect with real people through events, office hours, and webinars. It also provides curated toolkits, guides, and resources that support practical next steps.
