Government Purchase Card Program at SJAFB

Representatives from the 4th Contracting Squadron at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base will deliver an in‑depth briefing on the Government Purchase Card (GPC) program and its role in supporting the Air Force’s day‑to‑day operational needs. This session will explain how the GPC program streamlines small purchases, improves efficiency, and ensures compliance with federal acquisition regulations.

Attendees will gain a clear understanding of how the GPC process works from start to finish—including requirements determination, funding approvals, cardholder responsibilities, documentation standards, and end‑of‑month reconciliation. Presenters will also address common challenges businesses encounter when interacting with the GPC program and offer guidance on how vendors can position their products or services to align with Air Force purchasing procedures.
