North Carolina Maritime Supply Chain (MaSC) Workshop

The North Carolina Military Business Center and partner organizations will host the North Carolina Maritime Supply Chain (MaSC) Workshop in Morehead City on December 10, 2025. The workshop will connect national military shipbuilding prime and subcontractors with North Carolina businesses currently engaged – or seeking to engage – in the maritime supply chain.
Prime and subcontractors will share current and future requirements, identify gaps and highlight supply chain vulnerabilities. North Carolina businesses will showcase their capabilities, experience, and past performance relevant to government and prime contractor needs, with the goal of strengthening and expanding the military maritime supply chain in support of national strategy objectives.

Those attending the tour should at the MARTEC Building 15 minutes prior to the tour start time. - Join us for a tour of Carteret Community College’s (CCC) Boat Manufacturing and Marine Technology Program and be immersed in the craftsmanship, technology, and real-world training offered through this innovative program.
This guided tour highlights CCC’s role in supporting the region’s Blue Economy, preparing students for careers in marine trades, composites, and boat systems, and strengthening Carteret County’s identity as a hub of maritime excellence.
The tour will include a full tour of CCC’s Maritime Trades Building (MARTEC), the only comprehensive marine technology training facility in the Mid-Atlantic region. MARTEC houses the boat building program, Outboard Marine, Diesel, and US Coast Guard certification programs.
