Request for Research Proposals to Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC)

Thank you for attending the Military Medical Innovation Operational (MIO) Forum on December 7, 2023, in Fayetteville, North Carolina hosted by Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC), Fort Liberty, NC; the North Carolina Military Business Center; the North Carolina Defense Technology Transition Office (DEFTECH); and Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC).

A friendly reminder for submissions.  Industry, academic, and military partners may submit research proposals to Womack Army Medical Center (WAMC) by March 8, 2024 via dha.liberty.womack-amc.mbx.me-dci-triage@health.mil. This email box can also be used to ask questions during this submission phase. WAMC will review all proposals and respond to submitters within 45 days.

Submission and Review Format:

1. Full name of proposer.
2. Department/Organization name.
3. Contact information (email and phone).
4. Title
5. Abstract summary (100-word limit)
6. Proposal Narrative (3-page limit, 12-font, single space):
   Rationale
   Objectives/Specific AIMS/Hypotheses
   Methodology
   Anticipated Deliverables with Timeline
   Relevance and Impact
   References
7. Quad Chart via PowerPoint Slide
   Title with date, name, organization, and contact information
   Technology with brief description
   Deliverables
   Military operational impact (include identified gap, specific objectives/goals)
   Timeline
