
The SBTDC, in partnership with the USDA Forest Service, is hosting a two-day Industry Day focused on connecting local businesses and contractors with critical Hurricane Helene recovery contracting opportunities in Western North Carolina. This event will provide comprehensive training, technical assistance, and direct access to Forest Service program managers overseeing recovery projects valued at millions of dollars.

Agenda.
- Day 1 will feature presentations from the USDA Forest Service and SBA covering contracting opportunities, application processes, and technical program requirements across five key recovery areas: roads restoration, stream and watershed restoration, bridge reconstruction, trails rehabilitation, and boundary line surveying.
- Day 2 will provide intensive hands-on support with expert assistance tables offering live SAM.gov registration help, BPA application completion, financial readiness assessments, and partnership facilitation
