Biography:  Diane Cherry is an environmental and energy consultant with more than 20 years of experience across a range of organizations in the private sector, public sector, higher education, and non-profit sector. She has worked as an economist at the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, as a senior policy advisor at the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality, as a budget analyst for local government, an energy and environmental policy manager at NC State University, and most recently she managed a team of employees as the Director of Engagement for the NC Sustainable Energy Association.  Diane received a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Virginia and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Policy with a concentration in Environmental and Energy Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
