Federal Prime Contracts in North Carolina in 2022 Increased $1.5 Billion from 2021


NORTH CAROLINA (MARCH 7, 2023).  The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC), a business development and technology transition entity of the State of North Carolina, embedded in the State’s community colleges and headquartered at Fayetteville Technical Community College, is pleased to announce that businesses executed $8.93 billion in federal prime contracts in our state in FY2022. 

NCMBC Welcomes Don Davis, Defense and Industrial Aerospace to the Team

Don Davis joined the North Carolina Military Business Center in February 2023. He currently serves as a Strategic Industry Professional, specializing in defense and industrial aerospace.  

Don is an executive level aerospace business consultant with more than forty five years of defense and industrial experience.

The Federal and Defense Textile (FEDTEX) Summit hosted by the Office of US Senator Thom Tillis, the North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) and the North Carolina Defense Technology Transition Office (DEFTECH) connects the US Department of Defense (DoD) and federal agency clothing and individual equipment buyers with US textile manufacturers, textile supply chain suppliers, cut and sew contractors, research and development (R&D) facilities, testing labs and academic resources.

NCMBC Appoints Tonia Rivers as Business Development Professional (Fort Bragg Region)

The North Carolina Military Business Center (NCMBC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tonia Rivers as Business Development Professional.  Serving businesses statewide from Fayetteville Technical Community College, Tonia will also provide one-on-one assistance to help businesses in the following counties to compete for, win and grow jobs through federal contracts: Bladen, Cumberland, Columbus, Harnett, Hoke, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, Robeson, Sampson and Scotland.
