About.  There have been an unprecedented number of changes in cybersecurity compliance regulations and standards in the federal government contracting space over the past few months. It is difficult to keep up wiith all the changes, and even more difficult to understand how the changes will affect your company. Join us as we help “demystify” the changes and help you understand how to implement the new regulations and standards in your company.

Recent changes include:

  • CMMC rulemaking is not complete and is now scheduled to roll out (slowly) in the Fall of 2024.
  • NIST SP 800-171 is undergoing a 3rd revision and is expected to be finalized in the first quarter of 2024.
  • New DFARS clause – 252.204-7024 Notice on the Use of the Supplier Performance Risk System.
  • New VA Acquisition Regulation (VAAR) regarding cybersecurity
  • New FAR clause: FAR 52.204-27, bans TikTok, or any successor application or service developed or provided by ByteDance
