Charleston District and SAME Charleston 2026 Federal Contractor Summit and Annual Oyster Roast

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Charleston District, and the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME), Charleston Post, invite you to attend the 2026 Federal Contractor Summit and Annual Oyster Roast on Thursday, November 19, 2026, at The Citadel’s Altman Center.

This event is an opportunity for small businesses, prime contractors, subcontractors, and other industry partners to engage directly with Government program and acquisition personnel; learn about anticipated procurement activity; and discuss innovative approaches to delivering Federal projects.

What to Expect

  • FY 2027 and beyond procurement projections from USACE districts and the U.S. Coast Guard
  • A discussion on emerging and alternative acquisition methods, including Progressive Design-Build, Design-Build to Budget, Other Transactional Authorities, and other innovative delivery approaches
  • An open, free-flowing “Meet the Program Managers and Prime Contractors” networking session
  • A Reverse Industry Day/Closed Listening Session (by invitation only)  focused on industry lessons learned and practical recommendations

During the afternoon networking session, representatives from USACE program management, contracting, engineering, construction, and operations will be available throughout the room for informal, one-on-one discussions. We encourage you to come meet our team, share your capabilities, learn more about our mission and project types, and build relationships that can support future engagement.
